The TSI Training Centre - About Us

The Institute provides cost effective, high quality professional courses to trading standards, regulatory services’ professionals and businesses. Members of the Institute benefit from a subsidised rate and branches receive a dividend for every member attending a TSI course. Any branch with a successful training course can gain a royalty from working with the Training Centre to deliver the course into other branch areas or nationwide.

We deliver training through traditional classroom, distance learning materials and blended learning techniques. The range of courses extend from update courses, qualifications and revision courses, through to the Fair Trading Award for staff working in businesses.

We deliver courses also in partnership with other bodies, including the TSI branches and central government agencies.

All courses are booked on-line and each course is accredited to receive TSI CPPD hours. All candidates receive a certificate of attendance for their CPPD file. The Centre relies upon the skills of the Institute team at Head Office, working closely with the Director of Training, Katherine Preston, who co-ordinates our training provision.
